Anzac Memorial Tour April 2026
On Tuesday 14th April, a group of our members trainedd in to Museum station then walked to Hyde Park to visit the Anzac Memorial.
Marilyn, Gary and their grandson Andrew arrived early and met up with the Seargent Major who had led the work experience for Andrew a few weeks earlier. We were then given a short tour of the original part of the building not included in the tour. The office used by Sir Roden Cuttler and some other interesting offices.
We then joined the rest of the group for a very interesting and informative tour, stopping at 11 am for the ode, last post and a minute's silence. Below is a selection of photos from the day, if you move your mouse over each one there will be a comment about it.
