A message from the president
As I enter my second term as President of Austral Probus I remain supremely hopeful that more of our members will see fit to make meaningful contributions to the effective running of the Club.
In many ways the club continues to thrive, with new members joining on a regular basis. A number of exciting outings and excursions are planned for 2024 along with a number of interesting guest speakers. Many of our own members have led interesting lives and fashioned successful working careers and have stories which they could share with fellow members.
As with any voluntary organisation there will be times when there are struggles to fill Committee positions. To some degree our Club is at that point now. As the old saying goes “many hands make light work”. New people bring new and fresh ideas. Even if you don’t wish to join the Committee suggestions for activities or outings will always be welcome.
Austral Probus remains, and hopefully will always remain, a place where friendships are made and adventures are shared.
Stay safe and well.
