I would like to introduce myself.
I am married to Ray & have been for 54 years. We have 2 children, a girl & a boy, both married. Our daughter gave us 2 grandsons & our son gave us 2 granddaughters.
I have been retired for approximately 16 years & Ray since Covid. I spent many years scoring cricket, even got to do a test game (Aust v India). Ray spends many hours at the gym & swimming to keep fit. We spend our other time now following the grandchildren with their chosen sports.
We joined Probus back in October 2013 after speaking with friends who recommended it. We looked into joining theirs but it was at Cherrybrook & took to long to get to, so we looked for one closer to home. Austral Probus was our choice, doesn’t take long to get to, it is not a very large group, like some others & we have found the members are a delight to know.
We have enjoyed the outings that have been planned so far and we are looking forward to the many more that are in the pipeline.
I am looking forward to the following year as your president & should you wish to discuss anything whatsoever, please feel free to let me know,
